Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026. This policy describes personal data processed through ReviewOrb, operated from Sweden. For privacy requests and questions about the party responsible for your data, contact contact@revieworb.com.

What we collect and why

  • Correspondence: your email address, message and anything you choose to send. We use this to respond to enquiries, corrections and privacy requests, based on our legitimate interests in running the site and responding to you, or to meet legal obligations.
  • Newsletter: if you actively sign up, we store your email address and a record of your consent for ReviewOrb email updates. Consent is the legal basis. Signing up is optional and is separate from accepting analytics cookies.
  • Website operation: hosting and security systems process technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, timestamps and error or security events. We use this for reliable delivery, troubleshooting and abuse prevention, based on legitimate interests.
  • Optional analytics: only after you allow analytics, Google Analytics processes information about your visits, pages, device/browser and interactions to help us understand site use. We rely on consent for this optional processing.

Your choices

Use to allow or reject analytics or withdraw consent. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from reading the site. If you previously allowed analytics, withdrawal stops further collection through our analytics integration and removes its first-party analytics cookies from this browser.

To leave the newsletter, email contact@revieworb.com from the subscribed address with “Unsubscribe” in the subject. We will remove you from the active list. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Service providers and external sites

Hostinger hosts the website and its stored newsletter list. Our email services process messages and delivery information. If you allow analytics, Google processes analytics data. We do not sell the newsletter list.

Clicking a retailer, manufacturer, affiliate or other external link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control its processing. Illustrative photos are stored on this website; viewing them does not require a request to the original stock-photo service.

International processing

Service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where GDPR transfer rules apply, processing must use an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your data.

How long we keep information

Newsletter details are kept while you remain subscribed; after withdrawal, only information necessary to record the withdrawal or meet a legal obligation is retained. Correspondence is retained while needed to resolve the request and any related obligations or disputes. Hosting logs follow the provider’s operational retention settings. Analytics retention follows the configured Google Analytics property settings. You can ask us for the retention details applicable to your request.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request.

You can complain to Sweden’s Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local supervisory authority.

Cookies and updates

See our Cookie Policy for storage details. We update this policy when our services change and show the revision date above.
